Hi Guys,
A little sleep is better than no sleep. I have added a photo of what the older vineyards look like in the Negev from yesterday. Right where they are supposed to be.
All the fields of domestic barley housed 6 row, 2 row, and wild. The barley sisters witnessing to the world what Month it is for those who have eyes to see. We will get to that in a moment.
The second picture is indicative of a lot of wild barley growing in both domestic barley and wheat fields. Yes, that is aviv.
Now how do I know that. From decades of handling grain and from some simple Biblical instruction from our Lord and Savior. Then lets not forget what every person who has been involved in growing crops knows. But first from Christ: John 4:35 This is a Biblical principle. I write this not for the clueless ones but to those who believe what scripture says.
The context here is very clear, it is some saying it is not time for the harvest to begin. Look at His reply to that. An agricultural principle applied to a spiritual reality.
"...Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and split seeds of grain? No! Lift up your eyes and LOOK at the fields, for they are already white for harvest."
Every farmer does that same thing. They know by looking at their crops (because of their intimacy in growing them throughout their lives) whether they are ready to pick or harvest. People who do not, and have not, put their hands in the dirt are clueless to this and can be conditioned to splitting hairs and separating tithes from minuscule things like mint and dill.
For you gardeners. If you plant green beans do you need to split the bean string open to know it is ready to eat? Of course not. You know by looking at it.
So, take a look at the last picture of 6 row barley. Do you need to split it open to know it is aviv? Once again, of course not. So do not be mislead or pause when observing people throw things into the narrative like we need to see the inside of the grain. Christ did not instruct us to do that. They do so to separate the grain from the chaff so don't get blown away with their winds of doctrine.
Another day and into the JV and other locations. Wait until you see the real North today as well. Remember eyes to see. Be thankful you can for not everyone is called to that.
I will try and get some pictures of the figs here in the neighborhood before heading to the airport tonight. Yes, one of those whirl wind trips to assist some of you.
Our peace we give to you.
