This repeats itself every Abib Growing Cycle. Its not required reading guys, but directed at the ones fostering the accusations because there are too many to address individually.
A defense for the hope which is in me by following the Lamb wherever He goes. “If they did to Me, they will do it to you!”
My obedience to, and subsequent actions and works related to calling out the dark deeds of those who would steal your crown have been challenged as to how I follow the Lamb in the very things He teaches us to do. Let me start off with: this is not a numbers game folks. It’s not spiritual patty cake playing in a sandbox and sharing toys. It is a spiritual war against our adversary and his minions. They have a lot of tares and babes hoodwinked. We are commanded to defend the widow and the fatherless as part of our resume.
Matthew and Luke address two very big lessons of instruction for us here at the end of the age in how we deal with the agents of darkness.
We are not one big happy and righteous family as they would like to portray. Wolves and parasites of every sort have entered in just Like Paul prophesied. They come in all kinds of camouflage: some are in sheep’s clothing, some in teddy bear clothing, some in soft spoken little girl clothing, and the list goes on. Beware of anyone slithering into a conversation trying to insert things like “we should not be calling people names, we should not be condemning others actions,” those just divide us. That is not Christ like. In fact, that is a rebuke to the actions of our Savior and Christ which are written into the record.
To a one, they all try to condemn me and some of you for functioning like our Savior has exampled for us, by His very acts recorded in the terms and conditions of our Marriage Covenant with Him.
I am accused of dividing the Body they proclaim. Not at all I say in response, for I am following orders and using the exact same methodology of Christ/Messiah my King.
Why?
To protect the vulnerable ones called of Father by exposing the darkness of the hirelings and wolves, which in fact is the equivalent to grifters, hucksters, and minions who are spiritually murdering babes who are not of age here at the end of the age. So here is my defense to their two charges against me. My defense to the first charge and then my defense to the second charge as they are written in our terms and conditions of relationship with Christ and Father. It is part of His resume.
Luke 12:49-56 I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! Do you think that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
Matthew 23 and the Very Big Picture to follow
Matthew 23 gives us some very sobering lessons in Christ/Messiah’s publicly addressing the errors of those who would be religious leaders of His time. Remember these are the same guys He said were sons of the devil. We too are to follow His example in this, but unfortunately many have been brainwashed by little “c” Christianity’s perverted view of such things. The dumb sheep are supposed to pray and pay and shut their mouths while the elites do all the talking. Not quite, eh!
Notice what the Lamb of Fathers household starts out with here. It is a public rebuke of the leaders of an evil and adulterous generation. Sorry if that is too harsh for some of you, time to grow up I imagine. Remember, they are His words of warning to us.
Let’s just have Christ/Messiah instruct us in how this is to be done, and when it is to be done, and why it is to be done. Three very important Categories of instruction! A wonderful pattern for following the Lamb of Fathers Household wherever He goes. Either we believe Him and His instructions to us as our spiritual Head and Teacher, or we do not. Our calling is not about unity, it is about OBEDIENCE to Him and Father above all else.
Matthew 23:1-33 will be the context of this very important instruction.
Let’s cover when it is to be done first.
It is when crowds of people and disciples of Christ/Messiah are being led astray into false understandings just like in the Abib Calendar crowd which includes His disciples. He corrected such things publicly and did not leave any wiggle room whatsoever. In Matthew 23:1-12 look at all the corrective setting He gives before He drops the hammer on the false leaders of the time. We are to do the same thing in following Him wherever He goes?
Then Jesus spoke to the crowd and to His disciples, saying: The scribes and the Pharisees sat down on Moses’ seat. Therefore, whatever he (Moses, not they, #846 autos) told (not tells, for it is referring to what Moses had said. The Greek verb “epo” #2036 is used here and in so doing, only in the past tenses.) you observe and do, but do not do according to their (Judaism’s) works; for they say, and do not do.
In summary here Christ/Messiah is talking to the crowd and His disciples and instructing them to only do what Pharisees (followers of Judaism at that time and not the commandments of Elohim) say to do, if in fact Moses had said the same thing. If not, do not do it. If you did not know it; Judaism is not, and was not, the religion of Moses. Vines tells us this pronoun “autos” is translated with the intent of: “he himself and no other.” And now Christ/Messiah goes on to crush these fake and phony, self-appointed representatives of traditions and commandments of men.
It is hard to believe there are still people out there who instruct that we are all to follow the Rabbinical calendar because of this terrible translation by the little “c” Protestant Translators. Christ/Messiah goes on to put the nail in their coffin so to speak in a very public way so there is no possible way a person who houses the spirit of Elohim can misunderstand that He is the teacher and they are frauds which instruct in evil functions of men.
For they bind heavy burdens, and hard to bear burdens, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men.
They make their phylacteries (#5440 something for holding slips of scriptural texts) broad (so they can self-righteously stuff them with more than others) and enlarge the fringes (“#2899 tassels) of their apparel.
That is still the same today in many sects of Judaism.
They love the first couches at the chief evening meals (#1173), the first seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, Rabbi, Rabbi (#4461: my master, my master).
Look how and why Christ/Messiah addresses this.
But you, do not be called Rabbi (#4461 my master); for One is your master guide (#2519), the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father (#3962 in a spiritual designation); for the One in the heavens is your Father (#3962 He who called us to be His children). And do not be called master guides (#2519); for One is your master guide (#2519), the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
So now we are about to see our Savior mopping the floor with them and calling the phony leaders of His times names, right? Not at all, He is naming them relevant to their actions. But yes, He is mopping the floor with them in front of the crowds and His disciples.
Some of you detest this type of public rebuke. That is a sad thing. You must follow a little lord Jesus and not our Mighty El.
Let us first get the accurate translations of these names used here from the Greek language.
1) Hypocrites throughout is #5273: Someone pretending to be someone or something he is not. Thus: fakes and phonies.
3) Fools #3474 combined with spiritually blind conductors. Fools here is not what most think it is. The Vines says the following: “the word means morally worthless, a scoundrel, a more serious reproach than raca; the latter scorns a man’s mind and calls him stupid; moros scorns his heart and character; hence the Lords more severe condemnation.” Oh yes, not the little lord Jesus here calling them names is it. He is telling these morally broken, spiritually blind conductors exactly what they are in front of who? The crowd and his disciples.
4) Then we have serpents #3789: It means an artfully malicious and cunning person. That is a description of satan the devil and then He adds this to it.
5) Offspring of vipers #1081 & #2191: the children of a deadly venomous snake. Here he tells them they are children of satan in analogy. That was meant to clearly describe to the crowd and His disciples where they came from. Like He told them elsewhere, the devil is your father.
With these accurate translations of names in place and their true intensity understood read down through putting them in where they appear instead of the nice gentle little translations from the Protestant Translators.
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in,nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore, you will receive greater condemnation. (Yet some folks say we are to follow them?)
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. (Once again, some folks say we are to follow them?)
Woe to you, blind guides (spiritually blind conductors), who say, whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged. Fools and blind (morally worthless, spiritually blind conductors)! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? And, whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged. Fools and blind (morally worthless, spiritually blind conductors)! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Therefore, he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it. (Yet some folks say we are to follow them)
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Blind guides (spiritually blind conductors), who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! (Yet some say we are to follow them).
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee (spiritually blind separatists), first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. (They are separatists because they have separated themselves from the commandments of Elohim to follow commandments of men and traditions of their elders. Yet some say we are to follow them?).
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. (Yet some say we are to follow them).
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites (fakes and phony’s)! Because you built the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, if we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. (Yet some say we are to follow them).
Therefore, you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up then, the measure of your fathers. Serpents (malicious and cunning creatures), offspring of vipers (children produced from a venomous snake)! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?” (Yet some say we are to follow them).
I rest my case! Please stand in the breach and never yield to the hirelings, grifters, hucksters and minions who are making every effort to steal your crown and future inheritance in Fathers Household.
The modern day application is also assigned to those claiming to be leaders of the Body who perform the same acts of subversion and subjugation to the brethren as those in Christ’s time.
