Hi Guys,

We can almost taste those matzo's. Lots of photos all over the internet today from the Land so here are an assortment of them.

Yes to the comment that this is one of the 2 latest Abib Growing Cycles we have ever witnessed to. And just think, it is in a year of drought in the Land.

And yes, the Wavesheaf Offering was to be of finely ground barley flour and not to wave a sheaf with stocks and heads still in place. Keep in mind this is a Most Holy Grain Offering. Leviticus 2 describes in detail each of the various types of them with all of their specific individual conditions.

The command and the laws etched into the grain offerings start with verse 2:1

When anyone offers a grain offering to Yehovah, his offering shall be fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense on it.

If someone wants to try and wave an actual sheaf from the field go for it.

The vineyards in the Golan are still sleeping as opposed to the lower elevations which we have been posting. Burr.

Then 3 photos from the west slope of the Jordan Valley above Gesher. Yes, that is wild barley growing in good soils. Beautiful isn't it. The first one is high up on the slope with some other witnesses trying to steal the show. It is in the milk stages. Further down the slope facing full sun you have some aviv wild barley having entered into the early dough stages. It appears to be domestic wheat under it. As you old timers know that is a common sight in that area and off of the beaten track.

Then some domestic grain (wheat in the forefront, barley in the back) from some of the early rain locations in the Center.

And now to the NW Negev. Lots of silage being cut from the domestic barley and wheat fields.

It is a blessing for the dairy farmers in that area this year to have been able to salvage a good crop of dairy cow food based on how the Growing Cycle started there.
