Good Morning and a Happy Sabbath to All!
As we mentioned back in July the majority of the early grapes to be harvested will commence during the first week of August year in and year out. Only a rare exception would prevent this. That is fact not like the fiction that some of the purveyors of calendar garbage spew out to unknowing victims.
You have seen evidences of the chardonnay grape harvest underway for over 10 days now. The earliest of the early ones. Quite a few vineyards are now started harvesting Pinot Noir grapes as well. There are other dark colored grapes starting as well but we will leave that to your own individual searches if you actually do such things. The only reason we post about the grape harvest starting is to dispel the idiocy of it being a Calendar criteria to follow for the start of the year. Sorry folks that is not listed in scripture other than it being in the bud during the first month of the Biblical Yearly Cycle.
Our friends at Galai Winery are starting up this week. Unfortunately as is the case in this region and the north they are restricted due to the events which started last October 7th as the massacres which took place then and have been attempted since.
These folks can only now harvest on weekends as there is a huge manpower shortage with the war in Gaza and the North in full swing.
I will answer a question posed about Adar Bet later today as some would like me to do so. Remember we focus on the Biblical criteria to start the year not end it. If we start it correctly the rest will take place as our Elohim chose by directing the early and later rains. Yes, the meteorological conditions they use to do such.
